686 side plate screws

Is there anyway to get new screws for your gun? I accidently stripped 2 of them when I applied to much torque, now I really need to get some new screws

There are most likely aftermarket sources from which you could purchase new screws; maybe someone else will reply with contact information for them.
However, if it were me, I'd just contact the manufacturer. I would think that the manufacturer could supply you with the correct screws, quickly & inexpensively.

Both www.smith-wesson.com or www.brownells.com should be able to fix you right up.

Good Luck...
