Check My Load

Hey Guys,

I have never loaded cast bullets. I bought 500 rounds of 115gn RN from Missouri Bullet Company a long time ago and finally got around to loading a few up. I did not have data in my manual for the 115gn but I have it for 120gn.

So here is what I came up with. Your input is appreciated.

3.7gn Bulleyes
OAL 1.10
Wolf primers

sounds fine, you oal may be alittle short for that bullet, but I assume you found that lod somewhere, so maybe I am wrong. with cast round I usualy do oal around 1.115-1.120. when I load hornaday HPs, I go down to the 1.110 that you a suggesting

your just a hair under starting load from what I see, and that's a good thing for your first time. if you have feeding issues or if its not as accurate as you would like, I would suggest bumping up to 3.9 and go from there. most people are pretty happy at around 4.0 for plinking ammo
