Hornady Blank Cartridge Die Set
Anyone have reloading data for use with Hornady's Blank Cartridge Die Set? I emailed Hornady asking for loading data and they said:
We recommend that you contact someone like Hodgdon as they should have the data you need. We appreciate the inquiry. Thank you So I emailed Hodgdon and they said: Sorry, we don't have information on loading blanks. I'm interested in loading some blanks for noisemaking purposes, but don't want to purchase the die set without access to proven loading data. |

Real blanks use special powders, not the stuff used in live ammo. This'll help though.

You could use fff black powder, I would suggest looking for a compAny that sells firework supplies.

It would help if you listed the blanks you are interested in loading/making. F. Guffey |

Was mostly interested in revolver cartridge blank data, 38 Spec. & up. It's interesting that neither die maker (Hornady & CH4D) offer any load data for their blank die products.

It isn't going to be that hard to reload blanks. If I wanted to reload blanks I would contact one of the local reenactment groups right here in town.
