Red Dot sighting scopes. Your Experience?

Bought a Slug gun, Stevens 67L - came equipped with cheap optical sights.

I'm going to replace them with a Red Dot system, after looking and researching the brands, models, specs, i was leaning toward the model made by ATN - digital reflex sighting system.

I would like to keep the price under 200.00$ = if possible. Are these types of sights practical for use at night?

Thanks for any replies.

So be it until there is no enemy, but peace. Amen.
