savage model 775A

Need to install a new lifter spring in my savage 755A. Anybody know where I can get a repair manual,step by step instructions or even a schematic for this old gun? Have already purchased spring from numrich just need advise.

I've got one just like yours - a beautiful shotgun.
But I know nothing about your problen being into rifles and handguns.
At gun Parts they ought to have a diagragm - I'm going up to the shop tomorrow and I'll look in my brownells diagragms and if I find anything I'll let you know.

The essentials for the old Browning pattent guns can be found in The Gun Digest Book of Firearms Assembly/Disassembly Part V: Shotguns.

If you can't find a copy to buy, send me a PM and I will try to get the pertinent instructions to you.
