Match Load for 30.06

I have a friend that is going to shoot the '03 match at Perry this year and is looking for some suggestions for a load for a 150gr SMK bullet.

Told him I knew a few folks that might be able to help

By the way, any ideas for my .303 for the vintage match ?? (174gr SMK bullet)

Thanks

I know its not for the 150gr MK but I have had best luck in my 06 using 180gr SMK bullets with IMR 4895. A close second would be the 168 gr SMK bullets also with IMR 4895. Has anyone tried Reloder 19 for the 06 yet? Is it really as good as they say it is?

If the CMP decides to issue ammo for the match, then he'll have to shoot that.

Sierra 150grHPBT, 49.0grs IMR4064, LC brass, 3.34" OAL is what the Am. Rifleman March '86 article on M1 Garand Loads said.
