Greetings all. I have never participated in a sanctioned shooting competition in my life but I would like to start. Is there a nationally sanctioned competition that the HK91 would be suited for? I thought I had heard rumors of the NRA issuing rules for a military high power comp in which any high power rifle that has been used by any nation's military might be used. Can any of you confirm or deny this? Thanks in advance for your help.

Contact your local USPSA clubs for side matches or three-gun contests. Nothing like using it the way it was intended.

Thanks for the info. I did a web search and found an Area 1 club in my own backyard.

Yes, the NRA is starting a new class of competition for service rifles of any country. They must be unaltered except for semi-auto only. Don't know much else so contact their competitions division. Sounds like fun to me.
