7.62 x 25 tokarev

Can anyone provide me with a starting load for this caliber using H-110 powder and 110 grain bullets? Thanks.

Keys, you need to get a load manual from one of the major powder/bullet manufacturers. I don't think anybody wants to shoulder the responsibility of giving you load info.

I was looking into loading this round at one time, here are a few links I found in my research. Not claiming to have used the data or verify accuracy.

I have manuals. Problem is, non of them list a load with H-110 powder. I does list loads using Accurate #7 powder I think, H-110 is a little slower I believe, but I never was instructed on how to substitute data from one powder and apply it to another powder with a different burn rate to get into the ball park of a safe load. I know it is done when obsolete powders or unlisted powders are used and loading data is rare.

Buy QuickLoad

keys85,

If you are into reloading unusual stuff, maybe it is time for you to buy QuickLoad and see what the CALCULATED effects are from changes that you are thinking about. Just remember, CALCULATED is NOT THE SAME AS PRESSURE-TESTED! But, it is very educational.
