Beretta 1201FP with Tactical loads
Any Beretta 1201FP owners have any experience using the lighter "Tactical" slug and buckshot loads? Do they function reliably in the Beretta?

No problem. I have run 3" mag slugs ahead of 7-1/2 dust light loads, followed by low recoil buck. This is a redeeming feature of a recoil gun, it's not sensitive to chamber pressure. The drawback is the recoil is more due to lower weight and no gas bleeding.

I never had any problems with the Tactical loads in mine. In fact, I preferred the reduced recoil slugs over the full power slugs due to the gun's weight and stock. Kept my cheek from being abused.

No problems here either.
Also prefer the reduced recoil shells.
