Cheapest source of Bismuth shot

I was just wondering if any of you have come across a cheaper source of Bismuth shot than I have. I have seen a 7 pound container of it on the internet for $79.00, but figure there is probably a cheaper source of it somewhere. Any information would be appreciated.

Have you considered switching to Hevi-Shot? Personally, I found that Hevi-Shot works a heck of a lot better than Bismuth. In addition, it's much cheaper. A 7# jug runs $64, 21# $180.

I heard that Hevi-Shot was not safe in older guns. I would like to shoot my pre WWI side by sides and Bismuth is the only shot that I know for sure is safe in them. The price of Hevi-Shot does sound good though. Thanks for the info.

Can you offer some places where I might obtain cheaper bismuth or hevi-shot?
