Sooo, my neighbor blew up his Taurus 24/7 Pro .45 yesterday

I don't know if he double/triple charged, or if the shot prior was under charged and left the bullet in the barrel. But the joker blew up. Wish I had pics. If he hasn't sent it back, I'll get some.

The chamber is deformed and cracked, barrel split down to the muzzle, and the fron't part of the grip completely shattered. The trigger guard is no longer is attached to the frame.

The recoil cought his non-shooting hand and bout broke his thumb. Don't know exactly what happened. But it wasn't good.

TAKE YOUR TIME RELOADING. CHECK YOU CASES.

10 to 1 he doublecharged a case. 8 to 1 he failed to clear a squib.

My money is on double charge. Squibs (followed by a normal load) I have seen usually do major damage to the slide in autos.
