Does anyone own an 8ga?
My neighbor showed me a shotgun shell (slug) that interested me. It has Dupont Industrial written on the side, the body was constructed of paper, and was considerably larger than a 10ga. shell. It has 8- Industrial written on the bottom. The shell doesnt appear to be very old as the writing is still very clear. Id say maybe 10yrs or so. He said they used to use them in paper mills to unclog pipes when pulp stops them up. Does anyone here own an 8ga.?

I wasn't trying to play devil's advocate or anything....... I couldn't imagine the roar of one of those going off without the muffler on it.

Gawd that would just be fun...heck, you could cut trees down...and level ground...and strip mine...and put more craters in the moon...and cause a big wave to hit france by shooting water...and well, I dunno, shoot stuff.
I really want one. Or two, two would be good...I wouldn't need a third, right?

The ultimae anti-kiln buildup weapon!

Do you mean that thing the Brits used to attach to a boat and shoot down whole flocks of birds?
That was a little bigger than anything you would want to risk shoulder firing.

Lonesome Dove
Correct me if I'm wrong but in the last "Lonesome Dove" movie, the one with James Garner, one of the characters had an 8 gauge side by side. So I think that such a beast does exist, or did at one time. Good movies by the way.
