Montana Gold Bullets

Has anyone here tried the .45 bullets from Montana Gold and what is your opinion? I have been using Hornady XTP's but I need to find a cheaper jacketed bullet for practice.

Try Zero if you need jacketed .45 ACP bullets.

I use Montana Gold in 45, 40, and 9. These work extremely well, and seem to be of high quality. Price is very reasonable and shipping is only $5 for case quantity. I have loaded literally thousands in the above mentioned calibers without seeing a manufactures defect. I highly recommend them.

I've used a lot of the MG 230 CMJ and 185 JHP in .45 ACP. All the MG bullets I've used in all calibers have been excellent.

montana gold

I've used MG in 40 and they are great. Good quality and they look good. Price is comparable to ROSE DIST at the case price and includes shipping if to a business addresss. If a residential address, add $5

Another nod to MG bullets.

I use them more than ZERO (not anything wrong with ZERO, I like 'em just fine, I just shoot more of the Montana Gold...)

9mm, .357, .40, .44, .45, .224

no problems.

I cannot recall anyone saying anything other than good things about MG products.
I bought 1000 of their 357SIG bullets and really like them. I'll buy more as soon as they show back up on their online catalog. I'll buy their 45's also when I need more. $5 to ship from Montana to FL. Sweet.

WELCOME TO TFL!!!

and when you get to THR welcome there too!

I think MG's have very accurate bullets in several cartridges I load. Not only are the bullets great, but the staff at MG are wonderful to work with.

I've run through a lot of MG 9mm and 45 185grhp and 200 grsp bullets. I have nothing but good things to say about their bullets. They make good stuff.
