Looks like his harness saved him from the bear - I agree; on the ground, he would probably be a dead man. I would have had my broadheaded arrow braced against the tree when I saw the bear coming up if possible, to use as a spear against the bear - wonder if he was trying that and didn't have enough time or what? |
