I'm sure it has come up before. But, anyway, Who makes the best bullets in: Lead, Plated, and Jacketed.......What about the best Economy bullets in the same?

I'm no expert, but....

Lead: I like Oregon Trail Laser-Cast
FMJ/JHP: I like Hornady
Plated: Ranier is a bargain

Barnes "unleaded"
(Copper and Tungsten)

Retention - 100%

Very effective mushroom guaranteed to expand more than double the original diameter.

Best bullets are the ones that work best in your guns, and you won't know until you try. I've tried all the plated bullets I'm ever gonna try though.

I like XTP's though hardley ever buy em.

Colorado Cast Bullet makes good cast bullets. I've used their 225 gr lead TC bullets in my 45 which actually fed great in my Colt.

I've used their 300 gr Rhino bullets for 44 mag loads before buying the Lyman 300gr mould. Love that wide meplat on the Rhino's.
