I use 180 gr Barnes X bullets in my 8X57 loads. Took a large doe several years ago with them. They definitely expand. Big exit wound.

I guess the Remingtons did alright for me. I was just surprised at the almost perfectly .308 dimensioned exit holes. More a factor of just not catching any bone along the way I suppose.

awesome deer i would have that shoulder mounted & placed for everyone to see
