Quote Buttons
Why doesn't this forum use the Quote buttons? I know I can use the quote tags to quote things people have said, but it's much easier to use the Quote button, and it allows you to quote past comments in their exact form.

Ok I read in another post you guys don't like to use the buttons because of the forum newbs who use them improperly. I guess that makes sense, it's tough for moderators to make people conform and/or learn to do things right. I run a busy forum with 9000 members myself and have never had a problem with quote abuse though.

There are no quote buttons because too many people are lazy and insist on pushing a button to quote a 400 word post, while responding to 20 words of it.
Then the next person quotes all of that and so on down the line. Rich

I like the simple style here.........
right about the reply with quote deal.... eventually leads to laziness and a bunch of wasted space on a forum.
