Gunsmith Feedback

I posted this elsewhere, this might have been a better place
Quote:
I may have done something stupid. I sent a specialty (not as expensive as that may sound, but I don't want to be specific as I don't want him to read this and retaliate) firearm to a gunsmith who I found on Google who advertises on his site to specialize in this particular type of firearm.
It occurred to me that some of you might have done the same. Any experiences???
If after a couple of weeks I get more concerned, I will get more specific.

Do you have any reason to be concerned?

If the gunsmith in question is one of the better known smiths with a good reputation for doing top quality work, two weeks is a little too early to start worrying. Top notch gunsmiths have all of the work that they can handle, and then some, and a lengthy wait is probably the norm. Did you inquire as to the turn around time?

It hasn't really been long enough to be concerned. I just started thinking..."What if...?"
I should have worried first, shipped second, but..
I'm sure it'll be fine..let you know how it turns out...with a recommendation if all goes well.
