rcbs brass case trimmer

I have the 1st version manual brass case trimmer and I've noticed, they have a version 2 out now. Anyone know if one of the pilots from the 1st version trimmer will work to trim 6.5 creedmoor brass or if I will have to order another pilot maybe, a .260 size pilot? I sure hate to have to order one pilot but if so, I might as well order some other things also Thanks!

I'm using the RCBS 1st version trimmer the #26 piolet should work fine , I don't think there is a difference in the cutter an piolet setup old and new . Give RCBS a call they probably will send you the right piolet at NC . There a great company to deal with.

Thanks for the tips, I'll check my pilots I have and see if I have a 26 pilot. I sent an email to their cs yesterday asking about it if I don't hear back from them I'll give them a call!

I always call , their customer service is always very good . I was having a problem when trimming the inside of the neck had a scratch about 1/8" in all around the rim , they polished up a new pilot and a new cutter , when I asked how much I owed them , they said no charge , RCBS has a lifetime warranty? So I guess something's last forever . Great Company . Let me know how you made out .
