The thread on 30-06 loads was so helpful to me I thought I'd ask you guys for similar info on the .300 magnum.

I just picked one up this week (Win70). I figure the .300 will help me deal with the pesky Bull Moose problem we have here in South Florida . That or keep me from completely wearing out the barrel on my '06 on my impatient, calendar-watching trips to the range while waiting for next hunting season.

So, now that I've got it, what do I feed it? I usually chase deer in Tennessee and Texas, but this year I'm also working on a maybe-possible trip to the Northwest for Elk. What loads do you guys recommend?

Thanks...

DL
