For those who despise the Lone Wolf barrel logo

I just received my new LWD 40-9 barrel for my G27 today. Looks like they've taken the criticism to heart and put a newer, less cheesy wolf's head on the top. I think it looks much better, and less in-your-face.

Anyone else got the newer design barrel yet?

Still sucks. IIRC, you can pay them about $10 extra to leave it off. Best $10 you will ever spend.

I bet they could make a TON OF MONEY (LOL) if they charged that extra 10.00 for having the customer select to PUT ON THE LOGO!

Maybe if their logo was very small and engraved with very fine lines, them I may accept the company logo

But the way it was and is now, + they charge to hide the logo is just

Yeah, that's not much more subtle. I'll pay the extra few bucks to not show the logo.

Yeah, $10 would be a bargain. Vanson charges $50 to leave their logos off of my motorcycle leathers, and their logo isn't ugly or amateurish.

Not much of a difference.

I've gotten barrels from different manufacturers my Glocks just because of the LW logo.
I wonder how many people have done the same, thus they might be loosing business because of this.

The reason is just a principal of the matter:
I don't think I should have to pay them to not put the logo on their barrels when after all putting the logo on is more work than not.

I actually like the old logo better.
It was much clearer.

You know, I wouldn't mind the logo: IF it were engraved into the metal but not filled in with black. That way it would just be silver on silver. However, no logo is better for my tastes.

The old logo was actually better looking. I wouldn't care for either of them my gun though.
