Case Trimmer and Prep station, .223, .44mag

Ok so I have been reloading for a few years now, .45 acp .44 mag, plus .223 and 6 mm. I recently bought a dilon 650 and have been cranking out a ton of .45 with it, but I want to move on to .223 and eventually .44 mag. Someday more.

So in order to do that much .223 I need to actually trim some cases. In the past I just measured and pulled the ones I wanted. Now I have lots of inconsistent brass that needs trimmed.

So I do what I always do and started researching.

I am looking at a Wilson trimmer / sinclair there appear to be a few different versions. I thought about the dilon electric one, but I just do not think I need that, but I could be wrong.

After I trim a piece of .223 what else is there to do to it?

Debur / chamfer, primer pocket clean etc?

Will an RCBS prep station do all of this? Should I go another route?

I also want to be able to trim my .44 mag so I can get them all the same length some are extremely short and some are extremely long and I want to get some consistency so I can load in the dilon easier.

So RCBS prep center
wilson Case gauge for .223
wilson / sinclair trimmer with micrometer

Any help is appreciated. My order is starting to cost more and more and I want to make sure I will be happy in the long run.

Steven

I have the Wilson trimmer with micrometer and I love it for my match loads but it would probably suck for doing 1000's of .223 cases.

You probably want a WFT or the Dillon trimmer

For case prep I have the Lyman case prep station with 5 heads and it works great. I trim then use all 5 stations

1. Primer pocket scraper
2. Primer pocket uniformer
3. Primer crimp remover
4. Inside neck reamer
5. Outside mean reamer

I use the RCBS Trim Pro manual case trimmer, it works great but will start wearing your hand and arm out if your trimming a lot of brass.

I would really like to have the RCBS Universal Case Prep Center, It does everything. But the price of $399 is holding me back right now.

Heres a vid of it in action.

I had not looked at the RCBS all in one. It does look nice. For the price it is just a little more then the combination I was looking at. Anyone have any experience with them.

This looks interesting. I'd like to see reviews.
