18 in. for 870

Who sells an 18 inch, non-rifled barrel for Rem 870? I would like to add this barrel and the 7 round extension. I've found the extension in Shotgun news, but no luck on a barrel.

Remington, Brownells, Mossberg (don't laugh, they sell Remington barrels), Vang Comp, Arizona Response Systems. All of these places are on-line. Just put the www. (name) .com

Dikyllis, a 3 rd extension will stick out a coupla inches past a 18" bbl. A 2 rd will stick out a skosh.

The barrel I found at Mossberg is 18.5 inches. $95 I was told that the two round extension will be a bit shorter than this barrel.
Whatch'yall think?

Either that or just get a factory Rem. 20" smooth bore deer barrel. Has really good sights and still throws 1oz lead fine. (what's 2" gonna matter anyway?)

Price sounds OK, Dikyliss. My HD 870 has an 18" bbl and my Deer 870 has a 20" w/ choke tubes,both set up identically otherwise ('cept for the SS on the HD). I can see and feel no difference in the handling,even in CQ.

My 870 Police Magnum came straight from the factory with the extension. And yes it does extend beyond the barrel about an inch or so. But it's no big deal.

I got one from Mossberg for I think just $75.00.
