"lug around the Glock" is it that heavy for you? prehaps you need a good blackhawk belt. I gave my aunt my old blackhawk belt with her to use with her lc9 now she says her pants don't feel like they are going to fall down. LOL! Good belt is what you need.
But if you want something smaller I recommend Sig p938. ;-) |

If you are comfortable with Glocks, you need to check out the Bersa BP9cc. It's a baby Glock in 9mm.

Another vote for a Smith & Wesson Shield 9mm. Excellent carry pistol and about exactly sized like you are looking for.

CZ 2075 RAMI or a Glock 26 since you already have a G19

Lots of good single stack 9mms with maybe the Shield and PPS standing out. The Sig P239s a bit bigger but real nice. The Sig P250 sub-compact provides a few more rounds without much extra size. I carry one IWB very easily. Some people don't like the P250 for various reasons but others think they are one of the steals in the compact 9mm field. Check out a few of the videos on-line reviewing them. They aren't the coolest or most trendy gun out there but they do the job.

PPS is nice, about M&P Shield size, be sure to train with that mag release though. Mags are $50 each.
Kahr PM/CM 9 is slightly smaller, long DAO but very smooth. Sig 938 is nice but it's SAO, easy enough to shoot, about Kahr sized. Kimber Solo (if you get a good one) is similar in concept. If money is not an issue, the Rohrbaugh R9 is a nice 9 that's just slightly larger than the LCP (no +P ammo though). Need to swap the recoil spring every 200 or so shots but if you can afford the gun, what's $5 for a spring? Don't really have any experience with the PF-9 so can't really say but it seems solid enough. |
