Red dot sight
I'd like to put a red dot sight on my 12 ga. Mossberg. Is there an affordable red dot that will stand up to 12 ga. recoil?

More choices than not !!
Well, I once put a "inexpensive" Tasco RedDot on my 1100 and it stood up to the recoil. It was a ProPoint-I and later, a ProPoint-II. I also mounted a BSA, for a friend and it didn't take the use. I suspect that there are many that would take it and you don't have to spend a bunch of money. ...
Be Safe !!!

not sure what a bunch of money is....but, Ive had great luck with the Burris SpeedBead and FastFire II on my 12ga shotguns, they withstand recoil great even with 3" slugs

Had a Vortex Strikefire on one. Did okay for a few hundred rounds. Took it off because I didn't like a RDS on a shotgun, not because it failed.
I have a friend who put a Primary Arms unit on his Saiga 12. It's had a few hundred by now and is still kicking. |

I have an NC Star reflex sight on my 870. Held up to about (50) Bird Shot, (10) slugs, and (20) 00 Buck shot in one night during a shotgun qual. Scored a 98% so I'd say she held her zero.
Slightly taller than I prefer but will tolerate that for the price I paid. |
