If a person breaks in your home, their intent is criminal. So therefore, fire upon them accordingly.

Meanwhile back in Reality
Never killed anybody. Never shot anybody. Don't desire to do either.
Be careful what you wish for. I wish to be well trained and well prepared in case the worst happens. I hope it never does. The second to last thing I want to do is to put rounds into a human. The last thing I want to do is to have myself or a loved one gravely injured or killed because I could or would not put rounds into a threat to stop it when I had to. I have in the course of discharging my duties as a Special Police Officer in our Nation's Capitol had occasion to draw my service revolver. There was more than one occasion "by the book" where deadly force could have arguably been justified. Being able to and absolutely having to are not the same thing to me. |
