Pietta 1851 ??

What makes the bolt stop move up and down so the cylinder can rotate?

And of course it's the one that rides on the hammer cam.

You bet, since I lost out on that Pietta 1851 parts gun, this $40 special is beginning to make me wonder if it was such a good deal after all.
But I do like Colt .36 cal revolvers.

I have a bolt that you can have.

If you want it, send me your address.

Finally all the parts are here, after a little frustration with the bolt I tried spreading the legs and it finally cocks and the cylinder rotates to lock up.
BUT it will work maybe three times then I can't pull the hammer back? If I fool with the cylinder & hammer it will work a couple of more times but then lock up again so I have to fiddle with the cylinder/hammer again to get everything going again.
Any ideas what to check next?

Doc, these are great, I think even I can make this gun work using them.
Thanks for sharing them.
