Arkansas SB71 passes 28-4, now to the House...
Today, I am proud of my state Senate.
SB71, allowing concealed carry in churches, easily passed 28-4. It is also expected to pass the House without much trouble, and our governor has remained neutral on the issue, stating that he will likely sign the bill into law if it reaches his desk. Keep pushing, people...small victories like this can only help in our fight to retain our rights. |

Go hogs! The last election saw a Republican takeover of the house but I don't recall the makeup of the senate. Arkansas has been a D state in the legislature till this year so the new guys are still with the program. Need to strike before they discover the pig trough.
