good "cheap" combo shotguns?

i am trying to choose a good cheap combo pump shotgun i have narrowed it down to the stevens 320 field/security $239.95, the mossberg 500 28"/18.5" $299.95,and the maverick combo $279.95. Any help, advice, info will be greatly apreciated thankyou

I would probably choose them in this order:

Mossberg
Maverick
Stevens

I don't really have anything against the Stevens, but there are just a lot more Mossbergs out there and they've been around for a long time. Not only do they have a more proven track record, but If you ever want extra barrels, or different stocks, you'll have a lot more options available with the Mossberg/Maverick.

I realize the Stevens is the most affordable, and I don't know how important that is to you, but $50 or so one way of another is forgotten pretty quickly if you end up with what you really want.

Mine in order would be the same as idek's .

I would also include the Rem. 870 in the #1 spot with the 500.
If I'm not mistaken Remington is offering some kind of rebate on the 870's. Worth checking out.

Stevens 350 Combo Field/Security Shotgun

Barrel Length: 18" Fixed Cylinder Choke and 28" w/Modified Choke Tube

I have one, great shotgun, my wife has used the 28" bbl for skeet/trap, she said it was a good beginner gun.

Bottom feed and eject, its great for left and right hand shooters.

if you do decide on the Mossberg one thing you may want to keep in mind is that if you go with a tactical stock (like i did) you may want to go with the mav88 solely because of the safety position i wish i had.
I have both and I'm thinking of changing the stock out with the 88.
