Video - Guns of the Teddy Bear Hunter
This is slightly off topic, but it is 100% black powder shooting.
Lots of people wanted to know more about the guns I used in the Teddy Bear hunting video. So here is a video that just focuses on the two guns involved...the .45-70 H&R Handi-Rifle and the Baikal SxS, 12 ga/.45-70 combination gun. This is the end of the Teddy vids...next up will be a video on the 1873 Trapdoor Springfield. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_ZllbLdRBs |

That 45-70/12ga combo looks really cool. Its too bad you couldn't make the inserts work in both barrels. Id love to have a double rifle is 45-70 but they are way out of my price range.

At a local gunshow a guy had a Baikal made double 45-70 rifle for $850. Sure not as nice as the European doubles, but for the price it seemed like a decent gun.

I have a Baikal double rifle in .30-06. Got it for $600 when Remigton was getting out of their distribution deal with EAA.
It is a fun gun. I'd rather have gotten one in .45-70, but there weren't any available then...and I don't need two... |
