Sportsman's Guide

Big thumb's up for Sportsman's Guide.

Ordered 1500 rounds of 40 s&w Federal JHP. They arrived quickly, at a great price (115 per 500) and they run great though my 229.

Happy Blair loves to shoot!!

I used to live in Minnesota and I did a lot of business with them. They have a retail store at the warehouse and there are smokin deals there. They have fast shipping and have always worked well for me.

I've ordered (not ammo) from them before but it was some time ago. How is their ammo shipping cost now?

Man, if you shoot that much you need to reload. You could probably reload it for about $50/500.

Anyway, SG is great. I have been buying various items from them for about 15 years or so.

No idea, but a word to the wise on SG's shipping - your first order with SG gets free shipping if you also join their frequent flyers club (or whatever they call it). I called back in December to order a case or two of ammo, but when I discovered the first order gets free shipping I upped my order to ten cases. Most of that is still on backorder, but when it gets in it'll ship for free. I probably saved about $300 to $400 in shipping, if not more, on that one order (most of it was 308). Lesson for the day - if you haven't ordered from SG yet, save up and make that first order with them a real doozy.

I've bought tons of stuff from them. So far so good.
However, I still have 5k rds of 62gr WOLF .223 on backorder since March (142 per 1k shipped) so lets see if they still honor that price. I should be receiving them the middle of next month.

I'm new here. Just registered yesterday and was just skimming through the post when I saw this one about Sportsmans Guide. I love these guys. I have ordered several hundred dollars worth of ammo, atv accessories, targets, clothing, etc. from them over the past few years. Allways had quick and effecient service and shipping.

I just placed a big order with SG, I've bought from them for years and been mostly satisfied. I renewed my 'buyers club' membership with my order, I thought I would get free shipping as claimed but there is a 20$ limit they notified me of. I had a couple of heavy/bulky items in my order. they are mostly very good.

I think the free shiping is only good if you get the club membership AND its your very first order with them. When I called to place my very first order with them I also got the club membership and there have been no shipping charges on anything from that order (some of its still on backorder).
