Winchester model 1906 hammer problem

Hey all,

My Dad gave my Brother a Winchester 1906 pump a couple of years ago. My brother never fired it, deciding instead to take it apart and clean it. He got it TOO far apart and put all of the parts in a box where it has sat ever since. He gave it to me to see if I could do anything with it, it's a simple design and I've got it all cleaned up and started putting it back together. I put together the hammer assembly and before moving any further I cocked the hammer to see if everything worked. The hammer catches the first sear on the trigger but will not catch the second. I think the trigger needs replacing, the second sear appears well worn. Before I forked out $25 for a trigger I wanted to see if I'm on the right track. Thanks.
