nightscope for coyote hunting

My buddy is a retired dairyfarmer and a very avid coyote hunter. He asked me to find some information on nite vision scopes. Does anyone use them for varment hunting? He is talking about a 1000$ price range and 4 power or more. Any info will help, this is new ground to me. Thanks Jack.

Couple of options for you.. personally I would stay away form 1st Gen and go with at least a 2nd Gen or better but you will spend more money on the updated technology...
