Does anyone know what the NATO load specs are for the 7.62 round?

Powder, grains, length etc?

I believe they are.. 7.62mm NATO :

The outer dimensions should meet same specs. as commercial .308 Win. ammunition.

M 59 (Ball)plain tip
Bullet : 150 gr.
Powder : WC 846 - 46grs. [OR] IMR 4475 - 41 grs.

M 60 (HIGH PRESSURE TEST)stannic stained case
Bullet : 173gr.
Powder : IMR4475 - 41grs.
Used only to proof test weapons. This thing develops something like 70,000 psi! Don't even think about it....

M 61 (AP)black tip
Bullet : 150 gr.
Powder : WC 846 - 46grs. [OR] IMR 4475 - 41grs.

M 62 (Tracer)orange tip
Bullet : 142gr.
Powder : WC 846 - 46 grs.
real purdy at nite

M 62 (Tracer- overhead fire)red tip
Bullet : 146gr.
Powder : WC 846 - 46grs.

M 63 (Dummy)6 long dents around case
Bullet : 68gr.
Powder : Nuthin

M 64 (Grenade firing Blank)rose crimp
Bullet : It'd screw up yer whole day if it had one.

M 80 (Ball)plain tip
Bullet : 147gr.

M 118 (Match)"Match" or"NM" on case head

I hear this is the favorite of the fed. boys at Waco.

M 160 (Frangible Ball)green tip, white annulus
Bullet : 105gr.
Powder : SR8074-10.5grs.[OR]HPC 8-10.5grs.[OR]WC140-11.4grs.

M 172 (Dummy - loaded)no primer or vent hole
Bullet : 147gr.
Powder : Nuttin but a bunch o trash

M198 (Ball, Duplex) green tip
Bullet : 82gr. (front) ; 83gr.(rear)
Powder : WC846? - 45.5grs
Yep, two bullets in one case

I'm not sure of any of these specs. - hope it helps. List comes from compiling different sources. Don't Load up any of these using above info. These Loads are for Discussion Purposes ONLY!!!

I shoot National Match Rifle (Military service) M14. The M852 stuff is the [color=#FF0000]█[/color][color=#FF0000]█[/color][color=#FF0000]█[/color][color=#FF0000]█[/color][color=#FF0000]█[/color] when it comes to accuracy from an M14 or M1. 200, 300, 500 yards, dosen't matter, always spot on with the windage charts! Use Sierra bullets to duplicate.
