2010 Dream List

What is your dream list of to buy handguns for this year? And what have you actualized already?

I have Desert Eagle on the top of the list with a 44 Magnum by Freedom Arms. The list will surely grow as time passes. I had a SW snub on the list that I bought today.

Lets see your list.

An Sp-101 or LCR would be dandy. Ain't likely to buy anything though, in 0bama's America.

Here is what I would like to acquire this year:

* S&W Registered Magnum in a non standard barrel length with original wood
* Winchester model 70 in .270 from 1948 - already have it waiting, just have to give my friend the money
* Luger with 1 matching magazine in 9mm
* Colt woodsman match target 3rd series NIB - My Great Uncle promised to give it to me, I hope he does this year. He promised it to me over the summer.

My first gun for this year will be this sunday. It will be a S&W model 1 second issue with approx 90 to 95% original nickel left. Hopefully it will be a good year for guns. My friend is selling it to me.

Last year sure was a good acquistion year for me:

S&W 29-2 nickel 6in - original wood
P38 CYQ all matching with 2 magazines
P38 AC 43 all matching
Remington 51 380
Colt Police positive special - 38 special ca 1950
03 A3 Smith Corona - all matching
Eddystone Enfield 1917 - arsenalized but a great price.
Winchester model 70 243 fwt from 1957
Winchester model 37 12 gauge red letter
S&W k-22 second model of 1940 - 1 of 1067 - original wood
Savage 99G 300 savage takedown ca 1921
Savage 99R 300 savage ca 1953 approx
High Standard 102 citation with space gun 8 in barrel wts muzzle break

I did get some others but those are my highlights of 2009. 2010 has a lot of catching up to do.

Dear Easter Bunny,,,

I have been a very good boy this year,,,
At least for the 5 days that have elapsed so far.

Please put these things in my Easter Basket:
1) Springfield EMP in 9mm
2) S&W 317 snubbie in .22 LR
3) Beretta Cheetah in .22 LR
4) A pair of Uberti Rolling Block Pistols in .22 LR

That's all I want Mr. Bunny,,,
I promise to continue my good ways,,,
I'll not hunt your relatives with these toys.
I'll even be nice to my pain in the @$$ big sister.

A vintage looking rimfire SA revolver and a percussion target pistol. This won't be the year, though.

I'd like to get an HK P2000 9mm, and if there's any way to swing a second gun, a Wilson Combat ADP.

I'd love to get my hands on a Ruger Redhawk in .357 with a 5 1/2" barrel. It would be nice if Ruger started producing them again, as I would buy one right away.

First off, Blackhawk, 6 1/2" .41 rem mag, I am going to give hoggs a shot with the .41, I've shot them with .44 mag and special, and one with a .357. Wouldn't recomend that to someone I didn't like.

super blackhawk 5 1/2" or bisley and then chop it to 5 1/2" either way, I want a bisle grip frame, blued, with a 5 1/2" barrel

Browning High Power in .40 S&W, either blue or nickel, eitherway it will get nickeled at some point

S&W 29/629 4"

good solid shooting 5 or 6" DA revolver in.22LR

3" GP100, blued if I can find one but they don't make the blue 3" anymore. If I can find a good deal I'll take a stainless

A Smith & Wesson Model 25-2, or a 625, or the new Classic Model 22. I love .45 ACP revolvers. I foolishly sold my 625 5" revolver a couple of years ago and have regretted that decision a 1000 times since. This year I'm going to right that wrong!!!
