glock 35 IDPA legal or not ?

Hello I have a glock 35 and i want to shoot IDPA i have been reading the rule book online and everything looks fine but the 35 comes with factory slide lightening is that legal for IDPA. the other question is the rules say that i can have a mag well but i can not have a weighted grip, but if the weight in the grip is less than 2 oz would that be ok.

thanks for you help

Glock 35 is ok.
A plastic mag well funnel is ok if you enter in ESP.
A brass well is specifically not allowed; steel isn't mentioned but might also be considered a weight, best to stick with plastic.

ok so a plastic mag well i assume with a plastic plug to hold it

i have an alum mag well with a brass plug. i was reading and the rules say you can't add more than 2 oz my plug is less with out the mag well. So i thought it might be ok

i guess i could just ask the range that holds the IDPA match but it is an hour drive so i was trying to get as much info as possible before i go there and look dumb

They won't turn away a new shooter if your gun is anywhere close to spec.
Ask before you buy new stuff or make new modifications.
