I glanced through the newest Hornady briefly at a gunshop near my dad's place. It's a nice manual,however....
IMHO,if you've seen one in the last 3-5 years, you've seen 'em all. If you don't have some new cartridge to reload for (a RUM or WSM of some sort, maybe 6.8Rem,etc) I wouldn't bother. New powder data is free from the manufacturers (Trail Boss,et.al.) I think my newest purchased manual is a mid-90's Speer manual that I don't even refer to anymore. I do so much casting and shooting with Remington/Winchester bulk bullets that the bullet manufacturers manuals aren't worth it to me. If I buy a manual anymore,I get one of the Loadbooks with 3-5 year old data in it. If I wildcatted or bought a lot of new cartridges to reload for,or used a lot of premium bullets with unusual configurations,I might buy manuals regularly. |

I bought it... I have not seen any diff. in 30-06, .338 WM, or 450 Marlin, or 480 Ruger... Still I like to stay current...
