Walther PPK
Ok, I have owned this walter ppk,cal 7.65, for a number of years, and know that it was made by the Manurhin manufacturer (I know, it is a french firm, that manufactured the parts post WWII for Walther and the gun was assembled and test fired in Ulm, I also have the test firing sheet(the shooter was named Boer)) serial number 22756. Any idea as to what year it was made? My curiosity has led me to try and discover more on the history of this sweet little beast. Thanks.

The proof mark should have the date beside it. Month and year can be something like 972 for Sept 1972 or letters where 1-9 are represented by a-k. The test targets often have a date stamp as well, but not always.
