Ok, some of my friends go hunting, buck, duck, pheasant, things like that. They tell me that I should look into getting a shotgun. If you could I would appreciate any suggestions/reasons to buy one. You can E-Mail me at [email protected] Thank-You! And Happy hunting!

Let's see...reasons to buy one:
1. Home defense
2. Skeet shooting
3. Trap shooting
4. Sporting Clays
5. Hunting
6. Gun collecting
7. Just to admire a work of art (aesthetic reasons)
8. To show support for the 2nd amendment
9. protection in the wilderness
10. Y2K insurance
...I'm sure there's a lot more, but that's all for now!

Yeah, all those reasons.

Remember, bird seasons are usually longer than deer season.

Claybird season is open all year around, but they're a bit hard to clean and don't cook up worth a darn.

In other words, you can spend a whole bunch of time outdoors!

Later, Art

All good reasons, I like the versatility, if the seasons would line up correctly, you could take a shotgun like my MOSSBERG 500, hunt dove/quail one day, turkeys the next, deer and wild pugs the next, attempt to run 100 at the skeet range the next, and protect yourself and your family on the next with little worry about shooting through multiple walls.

Reason to buy a shotgun:

SPORTING CLAYS!

Most legal fun you can have with a shotgun.

I agree with all the reasons stated previously. However, I think the best reason is...

Because you ain't got one!
