Desert mule deer hunt
Hi: I am looking for a Mule Deer hunt for 2010, possibly Desert Mule Deer. I'm thinking possibly AR. or NM, an open range hunt, I've seen programs where people are hunting in their shirt sleeves, that suits me, I can't tolerate cold weather since I've had frost bite. Any suggestions?

Believe it or not- California has some big Mule Deer out in the Mojave Desert. There aren't a lot of them but there are some big ones. Along the Colorado River border between Arizona and California there is a Muley sub-species calle Burro deer. They live in the dense brush that grows along the river. Big, heavy bodied but shorter legs than the ones out in the desert proper. They are a tough trophy to come by because of where they live...
