Ruger Old Army Grips
I got the big hands so little bitty Colt SAA/Navy grips have never fit me well. I much prefer the '60 Army/ Dragoon length. So when I first got my ROA's I had in mind to change over to Super Blackhawk grip frames... yeah right.
 Finding an old model SB grip frame is like finding an honest politician. So I just got me some nice wood and started carvin     The blued one with the stripped grip frame was my first attempt. The grips are red oak finished in Waterlox Marine Finish. The stainless (still in progress) is cherry wood with a couple coats of Danish Oil. These are the 2nd and 3rd sets of grips I have ever done. What do y'all think? |

Thanks..........Thanks a freak'in lot buddy. I have the same fit problem with Rugers and have always leaned towards Smiths because of it. But this changes everything and I will probably end up buying more revolvers now.
This is potentially a very sad day for my wife and let me tell you this......she's not going to be very happy with you either little mister.

 Sorry about that brother I don't like anyone's wife to be mad at me. Perhaps if you send your S&W's to me she won't notice your collection increasing I really like N frames

These are done now. Sanded to 800 grit with 3 coats of Danish Oil
