I am trying to find a radio chest/shoulder harness that fits smaller handheld radios (Kenwood TH-G71A) and lets me control the radio without taking it out of the harness. Most commercial harnesses that I have seen are made for Motorola's, etc. that have no buttons on the front of the radio. I need something that lets me see the display and use the front panel buttons. An extra pocket for a GPS would be a big plus. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome. I am thinking about having my mom sew something together but can't figure out a good way to secure the radio.
