Thanks Hornady

Just wanted to reward a company for good customer service. I recently bought a hornady new generation FL sizer for .223. The die works well and then I ran one shell without any lube, stuck case. I tried to push it out with the decap pin, damaging the expander in the process.
So I called up Hornady to get a new one. The woman on the phone asked what I needed, if I needed the zip pin, then took my shipping info, didnt ask for payment info. A week later the parts showed up, no charge. Now that is what I call customer service. I expected to have to buy one and was pleasantly surprised to have it replaced at no charge.

Over the years, I have broken two Hornady items, clearly my fault. I called their customer service and told them I had broken XXX part and would like to purchase another. They responded by shipping me the parts - - no charge.

Ya gotta love companies like that.

Interesting ... they have never had a problem charging me for LnL press or die parts over the years - which includes $15.70 for a broken decapping pin back in August.

I have never had any trouble breaking Hornady parts but I did buy my Hornady L-N-L progressive press and it was shipped without the large primer arm. I called Kathy at Hornady and she sent me a new one out right away on my word and it arrived about 2 days later.
I have ordered a few things from Hornady and they have always been excellent to deal with.
My father introduced me to Hornady when I was about 15 and I have never looked elsewhere for loading equipment.
