I haven't specifically used the SST in .338 WM but they are my favorite hunting bullet, very accurate and perform well for me on game.

I would have to go along with that statement, they are my favorite too.

I love their statistics (BC, etc) ... and I have bought a TON of them in many calibers ... the thing is that I haven't actually gotten the best results with them in terms of accuracy so I'm rethinking my love affair with them. I've yet to take any game with them, so I can't comment on their terminal performance, but I've always had GREAT performance with even the cheapest bullets ... when they go where they are supposed to

My latest project was a 7mm-08AckImp and it shoots the Sierra Game Kings much better than the SST's (1 moa for the SGK's and 1.5+ for the SST's) ... I'll use up this box of SST's, but I don't think that I'll be getting more in 7mm.

Don't give up so easy on the SST's. I have loaded several calipers and have great accurate shooting rifles with all of them. I don't understand why you can't unless you are not working up a load for them like you did the Sierra Game Kings.
