Reduced Recoil Slugs?

Does anyone know a distributor for Reduced Recoil Slugs. My local gun shop owner tells me that they are only available to LEO. Yet at an IDPA match someone mentioned they are available to civilians and the are the best for a 3 gun match, less recoil and all. Any info is appreciated and please send me a PM at [email protected] Thanks, Stan

I bought Remingtons over the counter last year and there was no restriction for LE only.

Justin has it right.

www.ammoman.com

This is where I get mine and it is a terrific outfit. Fast shipping too. Mine come next day every time but then I'm only a state away.

If you are running a semi-auto, make sure they work in it before buying too many. I tried some of the Remington and they didn't cycle in my 11-87 Police while the Federal does.

Anyone know at what price (performance) the reduced recoil comes?

Aguila mini-shell slugs

I haven't tried them myself, but they should be like their buckshot counterpart, having about the equivanent of 20 ga. recoil. PLUS, you can stuff more in the tube (12 minis vs. 7 of 2-3/4") in my 1300 Defender- more capacity! PLEASE NOTE: they don't work in autoloaders, great for pump guns, though!

FYI
Aguila mini-shell slugs do not work in any of my 870's unless you are going to use them as a single shot.
