Benelli ?

I recntly bught a used Benelli M1 super 90. Is there a way to tell by the markings on the gun how old it is?

Benellis were imported by H&K until 1998-1999 IRRC. If it isn't marked "H&K" you know it's newer than that. -- Kernel
