I know!!!! Nothing gets me going like seeing a bunch of shiny cases! Though, mine are starting to get rather nasty, I ought to invest in a case cleaner. Any suggestions?

I use a sonic cleaner but as the brass usage increases so does the dullness.

Ive been thinking getting into a setup with stainless steel media myself.

I love seeing all that brass and it is very pretty!!! I like using my concrete mixer for a tumbler as it will do 2500 to 3000 brass at a time and it comes out looking this way!!! I only have to tumble for three to four hours once every couple of months and it works great. I got tired of having that little thingy going buzzzzzzzzzzz all the time!! If you get into production at a larger scale the concrete mixer is the only way to go!! Keep up the good work and shine those cases!

I have a lot of brass, but would trade it for an equal weight of gold - or silver in a heartbeat.

I'm still waiting for the "miser dipping his hands in the precious metals" feeling to leave me. I do love the results of my stainless steel pins. Nothing but glitter and sparkle after I dump the black water out of the barrel. Got 300 more cases to clean tonight to complete my weekend run of around 2000 pieces of 40S&W. Not bad for a little 3 pound Thumler Tumbler.

yo! i chase all my brass--45acp. also pickup drops at local indoor range (with permission of shooters). i get weird kinda looks from some of the folks--who spend about 17.00 min. for a box. i reload for maybe .05 (cast my own)--so they can look at me weird all they want. wasn't so long ago in obama time that you couldn't get nuttin!!

bottom line--got my brass, lead and other components and i am good to go.

At $ 27,500.00 a pound, I hate to say it but I would trade all brass for gold.

Man alive, I suspect eating all those pickles has spiked your sodium level.

Brass storage is a family affair at our house.My brass lives in 5 quart ice cream buckets (I empty these), 40 pound laundry buckets (wife provides) and 25 pound cat food buckets (poor cat doesn't get very excited at meal time when he faces SOS (same ol' slop) in the chow line).

I like it when it looks like this. It is a help yourself deal. The range staff pretty much says if they wanted it, it would not be in the bucket.
