Marlin Model 90 20ga. o/u
I did some trading and this was in the pile.It is a Marlin model 90 20 ga.O/U it has a real low number G 996.Any idea of want the old thing is worth. The wood is in great condition with the exception thst someone added about 1.5 inches to the stock, you can tell it was done along time ago.Barrels still have good bluing.Recever has a nice worn finish.Would i be close to guess $300?
Thanks Guy. |

marlin Model 90 20 ga.
Did you ever get a reply to your question on how much your Marlin Model 90 20 ga. might be worth? Do you still have it?
I have 6 Marlin model 90's, including one 20 ga. The serial number of your gun, G996, indicates that it was made in 1950. I paid $400 for a Marlin model 90, 20 ga., serial no. LXXX, ith 28 in. barrels. I think yours should be worth at least $300 if it is in good condition. What is the length of the barrels and LOP with the addition to the stock? 28 inch barrels were generally choked F/M, while 26 inch barrels were generally choked IC/M. |
