please recommend light bullets for 357

I'd like to try recoading .357 with 110-grain JHP bullets. Has anyone tried it?

I am guessing these would go fast (1600 fps?) with much noise but little recoil...what kind of loads have you folks tried? Any specific bullet recommendations?

Yeah, I used 110-gr Speer, with 20 grains of H-110. Sierra Book; max of 20.4...

Soembody lists a 4227 load, also. Sierra shows a 19.3-grain max load with 2400, FWIW.

No recoil to notice in a 6" Python. It oughta be a good varmint load. Not too shabby for social work, for that matter...

if you use this slow powder with a light bullet you need a good crimp for proper combustion of the powder. Also consider the case expander and see what yours measures. A small expander means a better grip on the bullet regardless of the crimp and gives better ballistics. For the 357 a good expander is 3-4 thoussand's less than the bullet.
