New to me 4" Model 48-4

Picked up the gun from my FFL tonite. I had talked to the seller and he made the gun sound like a very nice shooter. What a suprise when I opened the box, no marks on the frame to speak of, bluing in great shape, not even any wear at the mussle, just the faintest turn ring. Paid $430 for it. I am a happy camper, will go well with my 6" 48-4 that I bought new in 1980. Do you think I should get an 8 3/8" to round out the trio? I think so.

These pictures don't do the gun justice at all.

That was a pretty good price/buy IMHO - Congrats !

I once had a somewhat matching magnum set - 8-3/8" /blued .22Mag Model 48, .357Mag Model 27, and a .44Mag Model 29 - so, I'd say "go for it" !

Nice addition. Have had a hankerin for one for years just never the right time and or money to get one.
